This was an expensive investment but the price seemed comparable with competitors and the level of service and attention from Nicholas was excellent. Mile High Shade ROCKS! Working with the owner, Nick, was super easy and fun! We have a small patio off our townhouse with measurements that, at first consult, appeared to be potentially challenging. As such, we were worried that we might not get an awning that would provide shade for the entire patio space. Nick turned our frowns upside down though and he hooked us up with an awning that fits our unique space perfectly! We are south and west facing, so we get hammered with sun and this awning is a game changer. We are so excited to be able to enjoy our patio space more, especially in the summer! Install was easy, Nick walked us through how to operate the remote, and reminded us to call him if anything acts up or we had any questions. This is our Christmas present to ourselves and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Nick really knows his stuff and has been a true pleasure to work with. Excellent quality, easy to work with and schedule. Install was done in a few hours. We love the new shade. I can enjoy my back porch in the summer evenings now. It keeps the patio door in the living room shaded so the house will stay cooler too.

The team at Mile High shade is the epitome of a small and reliable local business. Although these products are an expensive investment, as far as the market at their competitors go, they charge completely reasonable pricing, are on time and they complete work quickly with thorough communication. During the install of my motorized awning, I very much appreciated the level of professionalism and attention to detail when it came to cleaning up any mess and putting the final details on the installation. They are also just generally all-around nice people. As expected in their line of work, they are often extremely busy and booked out throughout the summer so do your best to plan ahead and secure an appointment with them. It’s great to find a local small business that is truly a small operation who prides themselves on the quality of their work and not on sheer volume. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with Nicholas and his team at Mile High Shade. I only wish I'd made this decision years ago because the new shade was the best home improvement decision I've ever made. After contacting a variety of local businesses and receiving competitive quotes, I selected this team and couldn't be happier. Nicholas was responsive and friendly over email and text, he brought samples to my home and ran through an efficient contracting processes, his installation timeline was timely and accurate, and his team was on point for an efficient installation. His team was thoughtful and collaborative during the installation, and they were thorough in their education process and clean-up. And Nicholas has been in touch following installation to make sure the service was flawless. My NuImage Pro G250 (15' wide x 8' 6" projection, drop shade, lighted) was installed in mid-April 2022, and I've used it virtually every day since. It has provided much needed shade to my patio and into my kitchen/ dining area that makes it feel like we've added a room to our home, while also blending into the exterior wall of my duplex when not in use.
